Site Name
Spot dive Tanjung Darat Selatan
Address
Darat Pantai - Talibura - Kabupaten Sikka
Description
Although the dive site suffered some damage due to the 1992 tsunami, it has recovered well. The cliff walls are covered in beautiful coral reefs. Below it is a plateau with rubble and large chunks of dead hard coral which are now interspersed with soft corals. The plateau suddenly turned into a steep wall, if the visibility is good, you can look down 50 meters down.
We can immediately see eagle rays and turtles accompanied by remora swimming out of the reef. During the dive we can see mackerel, and large groupers on the inside. This is also a great dive site for sharks, the occasional hammerhead shark, here
deep dives and must be accompanied by experienced divers. Meanwhile, we see Marioniopsis nudibranchs, juvenile angelfish and frogfish are often found in one of the coral blocks.
