Koja Doi Village in Alok Timur sub-district, Sikka district, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), is a village located in a group of islands in the Marine Nature Park (TWAL) area of Maumere Bay. The Koja Doi village area includes Koja Doi Island and Besar Island which contain Koja Gete and Margajong hamlets.
In 2019, Koja Doi Village was awarded the Indonesia Sustainable Tourism Award (ISTA) from the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism
One of the distinctive and unique tourist attractions in Koja Doi is the natural bridge connecting Besar Island and Koja Doi Island. This 680 M long bridge is made of stones.
“The Bajo people named this island Tukukaba which means Bat Island because it was once full of bats. In front of it is a small island so it is called Koja Doi which means small walnut.
